It produces medium to large cylindrical fruits with smooth green skin covered in fine white fuzz. The flesh is thick, white, and delicately flavored, making it ideal for absorbing broth and seasoning in cooked dishes. The plant features vigorous vines, large lobed leaves, and yellow flowers, with male and female blooms on the same vine.

Planting Guidelines

It can be planted in Spring season and Summer/Autumn seasons. For Spring season, pay attention to keep warm for preparing seedlings. For Summer/Autumn season, pregerminate before direct sowing.

Apply fertilizer lightly at the early stage and gradually increase throughout the whole growth stage.

Pay attention to control Blight and Anthrax. Insect management particularly for Thrips.

Harvest at the right time, generally about 10 days after flowering.
